Wow, what a great storm for our first good snow of the winter in eastern South Dakota. That is lots of help in getting ice on the lakes. We have been out checking with anticipation, waiting for the ice to be thick enough to get our Ice Castles set up. Our rentals are filling up, so it’s always a good idea to book as soon as you can to ensure you have a spot. Take a long weekend or spend the week. We have full accommodations for comfortable sleeping, full bathrooms, full kitchens to include stovetops, ovens, and full size refrigerators, so bring the beer and you can bring some frozen pizza long to tide you over until the first fish start coming in and whoever drew the short straw gets them cleaned (we know how that goes).
